The type of film composition is selected according to individual customer requirements based on;
Barrier requirements for the Product to be packed and Process to be used. High to medium gas and/or moisture barrier need for perishable products, long shelf life, no use of preservatives. Process in use can be modified atmosphere, vacuum, steam or cooking/pasteurizing etc.
Non-barrier packaging is used for products that is less affected by the external impact or if they are deep frozen.
Type of packaging lines to be used and the speed of the packaging lines i.e. vertical or horizontal flow wrap-, thermoforming-, form fill seal-, tray sealer- or bag making machines.
Type of sealing to be used i.e. weld, peel seal, easy tear or re close applications and puncture resistance to minimize leakers and meet consumer preference.
Visual effects to be achieved i.e. Print available up to 8 colours in flexographic printing. Metalised, glossy or matt effect. High clarity films, anti-fog, paper or paper look, strip laminates etc. Films can also be supplied unprinted.
All film composition can be tailor made in different thicknesses and widths.
