Quality, environment and hygiene – those are three cornerstones in our business. Today, we’re quality certified according to ISO 9001:2000. Along with that, we are environmentally certified according to ISO 14001, and hygiene certified according to BRP/IOP.

 

Ever since the mid-nineties, we have purposefully worked with our environment strategy, setting clearly defined targets for sustainable development – both in recycling and resource management. 

Since 1997, we are certified according to the environment standard ISO 14001. At Scandiflex we are consistently working to decrease the amount of refuse and product spill. For example, we recycle much of the solvents used in our production.

 

At the same time, we are purifying our air discharges through a so-called Bio-bed. To compensate for the garbage incineration where our products often end up, we have planted some 250 000 trees in Sweden and abroad; this in cooperation with the VI-skogen project.
